Membership
None of the goals of a fraternity can be reached without a committed, loyal, and likable brotherhood. In fact the well being of our fraternity rests in the mutual confidence and good will among our members and their collective willingness to sacrifice for the good of all. We call that “Honor.” It is this great attribute that unites us. This cohesiveness is realized over time as each brother has the opportunity to demonstrate his sense of honor, concern for the fraternity and the brothers, and his willingness to take on demanding projects, all of this is done while keeping a good sense of humor.
We are seeking bright, creative, honest, and energetic men that are looking for a challenge and worthy mission, men who are willing to work on a team and take important leadership positions on that team, men who have demonstrated character and persistence in seeking and attaining significant goals, men of both ambition and honor. The mission is to build the strongest fraternity at the University of Illinois, a Sigma Nu Fraternity that each member will look back on with a sense of enduring accomplishment.
